Starting with an initiative in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture in 2018, we have worked on projects with local governments across the country. Toyonaka City’s demonstration project “Urban Innovation TOYONAKA” will be the fourth consecutive year since 2021.
In this project, we sought companies to participate in demonstrations on two issues, and received 14 applications. As a result of the selection, we selected businesses for the following two issues. Selected companies will receive a subsidy of up to 500,000 yen (tax included) per project, and participating companies and staff from the departments in charge of each project will collaborate on
demonstration experiments until the end of October. I’ll work on it. Community Link, a specified non-profit organization, serves as the secretariat and provides operational support, from recruiting and screening participating companies to managing the progress of demonstrations.

Challenge 1) Support for transporting children to and from their lessons! I want to support the balance between childcare and work!
[Image 2: https://prtimes.jp/i/72562/60/resize/d72562-60-bf410060122e66fbbcef-1.jpg&s3=72562-60-2652aef8b14c3a259ddf5d15bab17356-960×720.jpg] Households with children are often faced with a lack of time, such as “I’m so busy with childcare and work that I don’t have time to take a break,” and “I have to give up on lessons because it’s difficult to pick up and drop off children.” We would like to operate a pick-up and drop-off service in the city for a certain period of time, targeting lower grades of elementary school students, who can use it at their desired time and place, such as after school on weekdays or on weekends, and to understand the needs and issues of use. Challenge 2) Make your life more convenient! Toyonaka City where everyone can utilize digital technology

We would like to consider and put into practice management methods, including approaches, securing personnel, costs, and bases, in order to rebuild “divide countermeasures” that are easy to implement in various parts of the city.
