Creating new business and DX with JR Kyushu Hotels Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, President and CEO: Hidehiko Kakutani/hereinafter referred to as JR Kyushu Hotels), which operates a total of 13 hotels in Tokyo, Kyoto, Kyushu, and Okinawa. Ignition Point Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Takafumi Suemune/hereinafter referred to as Ignition Point), which supports clients’ innovation and transformation, is a company that supports digital transformation (DX) of hotels. In response to this, we would like to inform you that JR Kyushu Hotel Nagasaki has started using an online check-in service (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) that allows contactless and non-face-to-face check-in using smartphones.

There is no need to register as a member or install an app, so you can easily operate it in your spare time. After the customer arrives at the store, they can use the 2D code to print out their room key using the self-check-in machine, greatly shortening the check-in process at the front desk. Additionally, the information registered by customers is automatically reflected in the PMS, which reduces front staff workload and prevents mistakes.
