“Resident Evil Village” has sold over 10 million copies worldwide! *~ Fastest in the “Resident Evil” series, reached in 3 years after release! ～* Capcom Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that “Resident Evil Village” released in 2021 has exceeded 10 million copies*1 worldwide in three years, the fastest in the series.
“Resident Evil Village” is a sequel to “Resident Evil 7 Resident”, which was released in 2017 and received favorable reviews.
This is a sequel to “Evil” and is a title with a rich variety of scary experiences and enhanced action, making it a satisfying play volume.
After its release in 2021, the high level of perfection and
heart-touching story gained support from a wide range of users in Japan and overseas, and it received the “Golden Joystick Awards”. It received high praise, including winning the “2021” and “Japan Game Awards 2022”. In addition, “Resident Evil Village” which includes additional scenarios etc.
