On June 11, Device Agency Co., Ltd. (Nishi-ku, Osaka) changed the service name from “AdvaNceD IoT Room Tablet” to “AdvaNceD IoT Smart In-Room Phone” and renewed the service. “AdvaNceD IoT Smart Guest Room Extension Phone” not only provides an extension phone using a tablet device, but also allows you to install a smartphone device in your guest room as an extension phone, depending on the needs of the accommodation facility.
Up until now, AdvaNceD IoT room tablets have been used as a means of providing information to guests and as a means of communication from guest rooms to the front desk. Especially recently, it has been highly praised for its ability to significantly reduce the installation cost of extension telephones, as it does not require a PBX, and is the main reason for accommodation facilities to install it. Therefore, based on the actual usage status at many facilities where the service has been introduced, we have changed the name of the service to “AdvaNceD IoT Smart In-Room Telephone,” which is more in line with the purpose of use.

We will provide guests with Wi-Fi information, directions from the hotel, a map of the hotel, accommodation terms and conditions, etc. on a tablet.
