Mr. Minoru Fujii of the National Institute for Environmental Studies, who serves as a director of RRCS, has released a new definition called “LCCN”, so we will be holding a web seminar to help more people understand the overall picture.

LCCN: Life Cycle Carbon Neutral, which aims to realize a complete circular economy by making optimal use of renewable energy, substances emitted during production and disposal processes, exhaust gas, heat, and energy, is being developed by the National Institute for Environmental Studies and Fujii. This was proposed by Mr. Minoru (Director of Social Systems Area). Theoretically, we need to understand what can be used and how, how advanced is the development of each technology, and how should we change and evolve our social activities in order to implement them in society? He will give a valuable lecture based on the current situation both domestically and internationally, and whether we should continue to do so.

What is “LCCN: Life Cycle Carbon Neutral”?
LCCN, for example, uses renewable energy to decompose water (H2O) into oxygen (O2) and hydrogen (H2), and then creates basic chemicals by fusing hydrogen (H2) and carbon dioxide (CO2). It is a system that aims to realize a complete circular and carbon-free cycle by using the heat from the waste process to create rubber and various plastic products derived from petroleum.
