This talk will explore the challenge of Japan’s transformation through digitalization. We will share the background and future prospects of how the government and various companies are trying to transform Japanese society. We will also delve into the real technical and social issues faced by developers who are essential to promoting digitalization, and discuss two DX (Digital Transformation) secrets to creating innovation.

We will explore ways to challenge both businesses and developers from the perspective of developer experience. We will discuss how Japanese developers can continue to remain internationally competitive and build the skills and experience needed to meet the challenges. *The title of the lecture may change in the future.

* Deputy Governor of Tokyo *
Born in 1967, from Yamaguchi Prefecture. After graduating from Doshisha University, he joined Yahoo in 1997. Served as the company’s representative director and president in 2012 and the company’s chairman in 2018. After leaving Yahoo, he served as a Tokyo
metropolitan councilor and was appointed deputy governor of Tokyo in September 2019. In addition to promoting measures related to digital, he is also in charge of measures related to startups.

After graduating from Sophia University Faculty of Letters in 2001, worked at Astra The Studio Co., Ltd., and joined Tune Biz Co., Ltd. in January 2003. Participates in open source projects such as PHP, and is responsible for consulting on open source software systems. June 2005, Gree Co., Ltd.
Appointed as director. In September 2021, he was appointed CTO of Digital Agency.
