On May 20, 2024, “The University of Tokyo Style Individual
Instruction Study Coach”, which provides a new style of individual instruction, opened a new school building in Center Minami, Tsuzuki Ward, Yokohama City. The three features of Study Coach Center South School are as follows.
* ■1. Exclusive support from current University of Tokyo
students/Waseda Keio students*
Each student is coached by a coach determined by their goal type. The coaches are *current university students from the University of Tokyo and Waseda Keio University*
The course is made up of instructors affiliated with prestigious universities who provide accurate guidance. As of April 2024, there are approximately 300 current University of Tokyo students and 100 current Waseda-Keio students, and we will match you with the perfect coach from among them and provide guidance.
* ■2. Optimize learning with individual curriculum*
At Study Coach, we offer courses tailored to students’ learning concerns, allowing us to pinpoint solutions to your concerns. After conducting interviews, we will proceed with learning with a customized curriculum and make adjustments as appropriate depending on the progress.

We will clarify what to do using two types of planning sheets. “Yearly study plan”: We identify everything you need to do before taking the exam and create a completely custom-made study plan that is tailored to each individual student.
“Weekly Study Plan”: Count backwards from your annual study plan and break down the amount of study you need up to the exam into weekly and daily units.
* ■3. School building opening hours are the longest in the region* The weekly study plan you created lists what you need to do on a daily basis, and also specifies when you should go to school. Based on this, we will check daily to see if you have achieved your goals for the day, and thoroughly manage your studies to ensure that you are proceeding as planned.
