Hokkaido/Tohoku District Qualifying]
The 49th All Japan Ultimate Championship was held at Sarukura Event Park (Kamiyama City, Yamagata Prefecture) from June 8th (Sat) to June 9th (Sun), 2024.
In the Hokkaido/Tohoku region qualifying round, BLAKISTONZ/JANDLUX in the open division and Hokkaido University PADDY in the women’s division have secured the right to participate in the main tournament to be held in October.

About the flying disc competition “Ultimate”
In Ultimate, two teams of seven players pass a disc around a 100m x 37m court, and if they catch a pass in the end zone, they score a point (1 point). It takes advantage of the flight characteristics of the disc that are not found in ball games, requires speed and stamina, and the spirit of the game.

The name Ultimate was given because it adopts a self-judgment system based on the basic philosophy of Ultimate. Each youth division will compete in a five-person format.
About “49th All Japan Ultimate Championship”
This is a national competition to determine the top university and club teams from all over the country in the flying disc competition “Ultimate.”
