Fujisoft Co., Ltd. has established a new “health care leave” for employees starting July 1, 2024 (Monday), with the aim of creating a workplace environment where employees can work comfortably. In addition, conventional vacations and leaves of absence will be integrated into “Life Support Leaves and Leaves.”
Fujisoft promotes health management based on the basic philosophy that “a company is its people” and strives to create an environment in which employees and their families can work in a safe and secure manner while maintaining good mental and physical health.
Additionally, in 2021, we will launch a company-wide “L Career Promotion Office,” which will not only promote the active
participation of women, but also propose systems to realize a work style that allows everyone to actively develop their careers. . New establishment of healthcare leave
“Healthcare leave” is leave for the purpose of appropriate health management of employees, and is 12 days a year for medical treatment when unwell, early recovery of health, regular hospital visits, health checkups, medical checkups, re-examinations, etc. (including 2 paid days). Furthermore, by merging the previous name “menstrual leave” with “health care leave,” we will eliminate the difficulty of taking menstrual leave, and at the same time, we will create a new system that is easy for all employees to use, regardless of gender. In addition, these days off can be taken in 30-minute increments and can be used flexibly, with the aim of fostering greater awareness of health management among employees and improving productivity. Integrating traditional vacation/leave into life support leave/leave We have added infertility treatment leave/leave to the existing leave/leave system for childcare, nursing care, etc., and have reorganized it, and now we are calling the leave/leave that employees can take based on their daily lives, life events, and family circumstances “life support leave/leave.” collectively. By using a generic term, we will respect the privacy of employees, make it easier to obtain certification, and improve work-life balance.
New establishment of infertility treatment leave/leave
This new facility will be established to support the balance between work and infertility treatment, which is considered to be a heavy burden on women. Leave for infertility treatment can be taken up to 12 days a year (can be taken in 30 minute increments), and leave for infertility treatment can be taken for up to one year, supporting employees who are working on raising the next generation and creating an environment where they can continue working with peace of mind. As a “top runner in work style reform,” Fujisoft will continue to aim to create a comfortable working environment for each and every employee.
