There are slides that look like balls climbing up a slope, and objects that are round but look square when reflected in a mirror. More than 100 works using optical illusions will be exhibited. You are sure to be surprised when you see the mysterious works lined up in front of you and ask, “Why? What’s going on? (in Kagoshima dialect) What’s going on?” ? Such an “exciting science experience event” will appear in Kagoshima for the first time this summer.

The work was supervised by Atsukichi Sugihara, a special research professor at Meiji University. Enjoy a mysterious world based on the latest mathematical engineering research. One of the featured works, “Infinite Loop Stairs,” is a mysterious staircase that appears to keep going up when viewed from the viewing spot. You can actually try climbing it at the venue. It is OK to take photos and videos inside the venue and post them on SNS. The “Infinite Loop Staircase” is also recommended as a photo spot.
