Earth~”. While the world continues to be in turmoil due to war, important elections are scheduled in more than 60 countries, including the United States. Furthermore, while the rapid development of AI promises a revolutionary evolution for humanity, there are also concerns that it will widen disparities and strengthen feelings of division.

Furthermore, the fact that progress in solving environmental problems is delayed is not someone else’s fault. In order to leave a beautiful future for our descendants, we need to understand the idea of “planetary health,” which holds that the entire earth, including humans, is one organic system and is closely connected, and the natural environment that is closest to us. It is also important for us to deepen our understanding of the mechanism that is the “intestinal environment,” which is the “soil” in which humans put down their roots.

Do you find it difficult to see clear leadership or direction during times like these, making it difficult to know what to rely on? Now is the time for each of us, as vast and benevolent beings like the earth, to plant our roots firmly in the earth and awaken our inner
leadership.
At this year’s Zen2.0, we will reconsider our relationship with the earth while practicing Zen and mindfulness, seeking inner peace and harmony with the outside world, and engaging in deep dialogue with speakers and participants. We sincerely look forward to your participation as a first step towards a sustainable future.
