Insect Hunter *Shu Makita*
Born October 14, 1996. Born in Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture. Belongs to Oscar Promotion. Fascinated by the Japanese stag beetle that he encountered as a child, he became a fan of insects. After entering the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, Hokkaido University, he is currently studying in the doctoral program at the Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences, the University of Tokyo. He is also active as an insect researcher and has announced new species. Events such as insect classes for children will also be held, and the appeal of insects will be communicated through talent activities. He is active in numerous media such as NHK’s “Darwin is here!” and Nippon Television’s “Another Sky.”
