■10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. every day. Closes at 4pm on the last day Shinjuku Takashimaya will be holding a solo exhibition by Hiroshi Watanabe, who has received high praise both domestically and internationally as an artist/illustrator.
Hiroshi Watanabe was born in Osaka in 1961. Graduated from the Department of Design, Osaka University of Arts in 1984. Recipient of numerous awards including New York ADC Award and Nikkei Advertising Award.
His pastel paintings are beautiful, gentle, and expressive, and have received high praise both domestically and internationally.
As an illustrator for many years, he has worked on many corporate advertisements, and his activities span a wide range of fields, including postage stamps, packaging, TV commercials, hospital sign visuals, and various goods.
He has also held numerous solo exhibitions throughout the country. In this exhibition, we will display and sell approximately 50 giclée prints, including three new works, as well as original pastel paintings.
An autograph session will be held on Sunday, July 14th.
