Summer 2024, Hyatt Rely Jesse Kyoto Cafe
33 brings you a weekend-only fruit buffet where you can enjoy the deliciousness of summer fruits in both sweets and dishes. Please enjoy the balance of taste and texture of sweets and dishes to your heart’s content.

In June and July, the buffet tables are adorned with mellow-smelling melons, which are in season in early summer.

The sweets carefully created by the pastry team led by Kiyoshi are all top-notch and delicious. The crepe is decorated with melon and cream in front of the customer.

Richly finished with fluffy sponge, plenty of chantilly cream, and fresh melon. Because of the simple structure, you can enjoy the taste of the ingredients. We use two types of cantaloupe, which are popular in Japan: muskmelon and red-meat melon.
Melon cream puff
I filled the choux pastry with cream made from cantaloupe and bavarois, and squeezed Chantilly cream. The top is made of
yellow-green fondant with a mesh pattern, making it a cream puff that looks just like melon bread.

This is a simple yet ultimate item that allows you to enjoy the fresh, elegant taste and aroma of cantaloupe.

In addition to sweets such as “Watermelon with Potato”*, we also use fruits in our dishes. Also pay attention to the combination of ingredients that brings out the charm of melons.
The three-month event is divided into two seasons, and the sweets and food menus change, so you can enjoy them as many times as you like during the event. Since it has a rich content, it is also recommended as a late lunch or afternoon tea.
