Looking for participating companies! Scheduled to be held in August 2024 (Application deadline: July 12th (Friday)): Support for startups expanding into the United States, Road to Silicon Valley
Full-scale start
*Companies selected for the program will be provided with the opportunity to be mentored by a prestigious team of mentors! * * “Road to Silicon” developed by SVJP for startups aiming to expand into the United States
Valley” will be offering a new four-week program this summer. The selected startups will receive support from mentors who are active as entrepreneurs and investors in the United States, and at the end of the program, they will also make a pitch to many interested parties, including SVJP member companies. The application deadline is July 12th (Friday), so please check the details and apply. *
*About Road to Silicon Valley*
This program aims to connect Japanese startups to Silicon Valley and the world’s networks, support and promote the creation of global startups from Japan, and discover the next generation of
entrepreneurs.
A team of mentors who are active as entrepreneurs and investors in the United States will work as exclusive mentors for each team. We will provide selected entrepreneurs with an opportunity to develop their mindset and learn practical skills, and at the end of the
approximately four-week program, we will hold a pitch event (SVJP You will be asked to present your results at the Demo Day.
Furthermore, even after the program ends, we plan to continue interacting with the SVJP community and providing necessary support. (Please refer to the bottom of the page for SVJP.)

Number of selected companies: Approximately 5 companies for each course Holding method: Hybrid, in-person event scheduled to be held in Tokyo This program has two courses: the YC Application Challenge, which is mainly aimed at teams aiming to apply to YC, and the Fundraising Challenge, which is aimed at teams aiming to expand the market and raise funds in the United States. . August 5th (Monday) – August 18th (Sunday)
Mainly feedback and brush-up period for applications and pitch materials We plan to provide an opportunity to meet with a mentor at least once a week. For the Fundraising Challenge, each team will set their own goals, and for the YC Application Course, the secretariat will provide the necessary support depending on the content of the application.

Progress report, AMA with senior entrepreneurs, Q&A session on starting a business in the US

Mainly feedback and brush-up period for interviews and pitches We plan to provide an opportunity to meet with a mentor at least once a week. Advice on presentations in English and AMA with senior entrepreneurs will also be held.
