Daiichi Kosho and Zenken sign a business partnership agreement to develop foreign nursing care and recreation personnel
Daiichi Kosho Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Tadaaki Hoshi) and Zenken Co., Ltd. (Headquarters:
Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Hayashi)
Junnosuke (Junnosuke) today signed a business partnership agreement to train foreign nursing care recreation instructors, mainly from India. Through this partnership, we will utilize the specified skill system in the nursing care field to develop specified skill candidates who can practice music recreation in Japan, thereby helping to eliminate the shortage of human resources at nursing care facilities and improve operational efficiency.

* 1. Background of the business alliance *
Recreation for the elderly in nursing care facilities plays an important role in maintaining and improving the physical and cognitive functions of facility users, as well as improving their QOL (quality of life) by promoting communication. However, nursing care facilities, which suffer from a chronic shortage of human resources, are faced with the challenge of securing human resources to engage in
recreational work and managing facilities in a planned and efficient manner.
Although recreation is one of the important jobs that we perform every day, there is currently no curriculum for nursing care qualifications such as certified care workers to acquire knowledge and skills related to recreation, and each program is different each time. Thinking and implementing the appropriate actions is a heavy burden on nursing care personnel, and the number of cases that is causing them to quit their jobs is increasing.

Zenken, which operates a recruitment service that introduces foreign caregivers to Japanese nursing care facilities, is based on the idea that “securing appropriate human resources and operating efficient recreational facilities will lead to long-term employment of care workers.” Daiichi Kosho, which operates the “DK Elder System,” which provides fun and continuous effective functional training and frailty prevention, has decided to enter into a business partnership agreement to develop foreign nursing care recreation personnel.

* 2. Details of business alliance, etc. *
From 2023, Zenken will become a member of the Indian
government-affiliated organization NSDC International.
Limited (hereinafter referred to as NSDCI), we have entered into a business partnership to develop and introduce Indian nursing care personnel, and Zenken will introduce foreign nursing care personnel trained by NSDCI to nursing care facilities in Japan that are suffering from a labor shortage. We are proceeding.
NSDCI will train music recreation instructors at schools in India who can practice “music health sessions” using the “DK Elder System” for specific skill candidates who are scheduled to come to Japan. Zenken is launching a special machine “FREE DAM” equipped with the “DK Elder System” for Indian nursing care personnel and educators. In addition to translating the instruction manual for “LIFE,” we also support incorporating it into NSDCI’s educational programs. Daiichi Kosho creates educational programs to train music recreation instructors. This program is “FREE
The content will focus on how to operate “DAM”, the health benefits of singing and music, and how to practice musical recreation.

* 3. Future developments *
Zenken will introduce Indian nursing care personnel who can practice musical recreation cultivated by NSDCI to Japanese nursing care facilities.

Daiichi Kosho will collaborate with Zenken to provide a solution that combines the expansion of sales of the DK Elder System to nursing care facilities and the introduction of Indian nursing care personnel. Through these efforts, nursing care facilities are expected to simultaneously solve the issues of human resource shortages and workload, as well as improve the quality of their services.

Both companies will continue to develop innovative services and contribute to the development of the industry as a whole.
