“Connect with high school students! Connect! Genius Agricultural Heritage Food Contest” held
~Enliven agricultural heritage with food and cooking ideas using ingredients from agricultural heritage areas! ~
……
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries is holding a seminar for high school students living in agricultural heritage areas from today, July 1st (Monday) to September 30th (Monday), as part of its efforts to widely disseminate the appeal of agricultural heritage areas and revitalize the area. We are looking for ideas for food or dishes using local products.
overview
The 32 Agricultural Heritage Areas in Japan (15 World Agricultural Heritage Areas, 24 Japan Agricultural Heritage Areas, and 7
overlapping areas) are important areas where traditional and sustainable agriculture, forestry, and fisheries are practiced. In order to make more people aware of the region’s unique production techniques, nature, traditions, and culture that have been carefully preserved until now, and to pass them on to the next generation, we aim to provide high schools (high school specialized courses) located in agricultural heritage areas. An idea contest will be held for high school students enrolled in schools (including schools, etc.). About application guidelines
