・Background of WebX
The Japanese market is receiving a lot of attention from countries around the world, backed by the government’s web3 policy.
May 2022: Prime Minister Kishida announced his intention to improve the Web3 environment in London, UK.
June 2022: “Environmental improvement for promoting Web3” added to the government’s basic policy 2022
November 2022: NTT Docomo announces 600 billion yen investment in Web3 field November 2022: Nippon Keidanren announces Web3 promotion strategy 2022 and 2023: Implemented Web3-related tax reforms
April 2024: Liberal Democratic Party Digital Society Promotion Headquarters, web3 White Paper 2024 released
May 24: Amended LPS Law was enacted, including provisions to promote financing for Web3 companies.
While the decline in Japan’s economic strength and competitiveness has been a long-standing issue, this field, which has the strength of cross-border (international reach), is expanding into the Japanese content industry, which is known as an “IP (intellectual property)” powerhouse, such as anime, manga, and games. One of the reasons for this is that it has the potential to greatly support the DX (digital transformation) of various industries and the expansion into global business.
In this way, Japan has begun to make serious efforts to create new innovations and businesses, but it is required to further accelerate efforts such as creating use cases and globalization. Additionally, many businesses in Japan have highlighted issues in various aspects such as building knowledge and business ideas to advance Web3 businesses, corporate networks, and business human resources. Against this background, CoinPost believes that establishing an international conference that can establish international exchanges and distribution networks of information and human resources in the Web3 field is essential for the growth of the Japanese blockchain industry as a whole in the Asian market. Masu.
We would like to make this conference a venue that supports the government’s Web3 reform and serves as a bridge between the global and existing industries through Web3.
