Tickets for “Forest Art Festival: Land of Sunshine Okayama” are now on sale at ArtSticker. First event held in northern Okayama Prefecture The Chain Museum Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Masamichi Toyama, hereinafter referred to as “The Chain
Museum”) is the “Forest Art Festival” to be held from Saturday, September 28, 2024.
We have started implementing the ticket sales system of the art communication platform “ArtSticker” operated by our company in Okayama, the Land of Sunshine.
The new international art festival “Forest Art Festival” will be held in northern Okayama Prefecture, with Yuko Hasegawa (curator, art critic, director of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa) as art director.
Okayama, the Land of Sunshine, covers 12 municipalities (Tsuyama City, Takahashi City, Niimi City, Maniwa City, Mimasaka City, Shinjo Village, Kagamino Town, Katsuo Town, Nagi Town, Nishiawakura Village, Kumenin Town, Misaki Town) This is a project.

This area stretches from the Chugoku Mountains, which separate the Sanyo and San’in regions, to the Kibi Plateau, and is located in the upper reaches of the three major rivers (Yoshii River, Asahi River, and Takahashi River) that originate from the Chugoku Mountains. The Seto Inland Sea in the southern part of the prefecture is full of lush greenery and magnificent nature, post towns and castle towns along the old highway, historic towns that flourished as hubs for water transportation, and the three Mimasaka hot springs (Yugo Onsen, Okutsu Onsen, and Yubara Onsen) with excellent spring quality. It has a landscape different from the coastline and many attractive local resources.

By exhibiting art works and holding related events that bring out the charm of the region from a new perspective and provide unusual and special experiences, we will promote excursion-type tourism centered on art festivals and expand the number of exchanges. We aim to foster civic pride.

A surprising lunch created by an artist.
