Forval Co., Ltd. concludes a comprehensive collaboration agreement with Kagawa University Graduate School of Regional Management *~Aiming to increase learning opportunities for GX/DX and realize regional revitalization through industry-academia collaboration~*

FORVAL Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Nakajima) is a next-generation management consultant group that supports ESG management with visualization and accompaniment, with the philosophy of “FORVAL creating a new world with “new normals.” On July 1st (Monday), Shunen (hereinafter referred to as “Forval”) concluded a comprehensive collaboration agreement with Kagawa University Graduate School of Regional Management. Through this comprehensive partnership agreement, Forval will collaborate with Kagawa University Graduate School of Regional Management and aim to contribute to the local community.
Background to the conclusion of the “Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement”

Forval has established the “F-Japan” concept in order to realize the four driving forces that will open up Japan’s future as set forth by the government: “green”, “digital”, “vital regional creation”, and “countermeasures against the declining birthrate”. In order to realize green and digital transformation (hereinafter referred to as “GDX”), we are working to develop GDX advisors who can provide accompanying support nationwide through collaboration between industry, government, and academia.

As graduate students at the Kagawa University Graduate School of Regional Management, there are many working adults such as employees of local small and medium-sized enterprises, managers, and local government officials, so we are able to promote IT in our own companies and provide IT services to customers. There was an increasing need to learn about DX from various standpoints, such as the provision of services. During this process, Forval’s “F-Japan” concept resonated with us, and as a result of repeated exchanges of opinions between the two parties, we decided to conclude an agreement and proceed with full-scale collaboration.
By signing this agreement, we aim to promote and further accelerate the development of GX/DX human resources that are needed by society by increasing learning opportunities regarding GX/DX.

Comment from Masanobu Nakamura, Dean of the Graduate School of Regional Management, Kagawa University

In Kagawa Prefecture, the information and communication industry is weak compared to urban areas, and although DX is a well-established term, actual progress in the companies and local governments to which working students belong is an issue. We also believed that we needed to step up our efforts in terms of human resource development. We hope that through this agreement with Forval Co., Ltd., we will be able to offer courses that will enable students of our graduate school to think for themselves and find solutions to issues faced by their companies and local communities.
Comment from Fujio Okuma, Head of F-Japan Headquarters and Senior Managing Executive Officer, Forval Co., Ltd.

We are very honored to have concluded a comprehensive collaboration agreement with Kagawa University Graduate School of Regional Management. Under the “F-Japan” concept, Forval is promoting green and digital transformation (GDX) and working to support small and medium-sized enterprises. The Graduate School of Regional Management employs many local small and medium-sized businesses and local government employees. By signing this agreement, we hope to strengthen collaboration between industry, government, and academia, and provide learning opportunities in GX/DX, thereby strengthening the provision of courses that can contribute to the “local consumption” part of Kagawa Prefecture’s local production for local consumption. I’m here. We will continue to leverage the strengths of both parties and aim to contribute to the development of local communities.
