As part of the JENESYS2024 exchange program to promote understanding of Japan, which is a people-to-people exchange project promoted by the Japanese government (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), JICE is
implementing a dispatch program for high school students and working adults to ASEAN countries and other countries. have become. For details, please see below and application guidelines. We welcome applications from motivated people, including those who are interested in international exchange, those who want to share the unknown charms of Japan with people overseas, and those who are interested in international cooperation and work that connects them with other countries in the future. The Exchange Program to Promote Understanding of Japan is a
people-to-people exchange project promoted by the Japanese government (Ministry of Foreign Affairs). This program aims to promote
understanding of Japan by inviting, dispatching, or having online exchanges with the human resources who will lead the future. Through people-to-people exchanges, the purpose is to expand interest, understanding, and support for Japan, strengthen communication to the outside world, and expand Japan’s diplomatic infrastructure. The dispatch program we are recruiting for this time is to send people who will lead the future (high school students, vocational school students, university students) to 11 countries in ASEAN (Indonesia, Cambodia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Brunei, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos) and Timor-Leste・We will send students (graduate students, working adults, etc.) overseas or online to introduce Japanese culture and life through interaction with people from other countries.

How to apply: Please apply in advance using the application form on the recruitment page. The deadline is July 8th (Monday).
*Note: Participation in this briefing session is not required to apply. As the details of the program have not been decided at the time of the information session, we will not be providing any explanations regarding the content of the program (visit destinations, exchange schools, etc.). We will focus on explaining the outline and purpose of the JENESYS program, how to apply, etc.

Applications for dispatching high school students and vocational school students must be made by school, and applications for university students, graduate students, and working adults must be submitted by individuals.

(3) Announcement of results:
High school student dispatch, vocational school student dispatch: The person in charge will be notified of acceptance or failure by email in late July.
University students, graduate students, and temporary workers: Document screening and interviews will be conducted, and the final results will be notified in early August.
