HELLO, an electrically assisted bicycle sharing service, is available at Hoshino Resorts.
We would like to inform you that we have introduced a “CYCLING” station and that it will be available for use upon opening.
OpenStreet is a sharing service for electrically assisted bicycles that can be rented anywhere and returned wherever you like, with the mission of “making travel more fun and free.”
We are developing “CYCLING”. The service is available in 25 prefectures, and the number of stations is over 8,400 nationwide. In May 2024, we began rolling out the service in Kitahiroshima City, Hokkaido, the first of its kind in Hokkaido, expanding the scope of our offerings and working to solve transportation issues in a wide range of regions.

This time, we will provide a new means of transportation that will counter overtourism in Hakodate City, Hokkaido and supplement public transportation, and we will also provide a new means of transportation to help prevent overtourism in Hakodate, Hokkaido.
With the aim of improving the convenience of guests staying at Hoshino Resorts and increasing the value of OMO5 Hakodate by Hoshino Resorts, we have launched HELLO, one of the largest shared bicycles in Japan. CYCLING” has been introduced.

“OMO5 Hakodate by” will open on July 6, 2024
Hoshino Resorts is located about a 5-minute walk from Hakodate Station, facing the old downtown area and serving as a base for sightseeing in Hakodate. The concept is “120% Hakodate”. From the morning market to the night time after the night view award, this hotel is a “town-side” hotel where you can enjoy Hakodate to the fullest, not only through the classics but also through unknown charms and ways to enjoy it.
“OMO5 Hakodate by” is a 5-minute walk from Hakodate Station. By installing a shared cycle station in the parking lot of Hoshino Resorts, it can be conveniently used not only by hotel guests but also by those using Hakodate Station. Additionally, the vehicle that will be introduced this time is the sports type e-bike “KUROAD”. “KUROAD” has a sporty appearance and high drivability, making it suitable for medium to long distance riding, and can climb hills with ease. The 16-minute walk from Hakodate Station to Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse can be shortened to about 3 minutes by e-bike, and it is possible to travel to Goryokaku in about 15 minutes.
