Realize the ideal state of our employees through efforts to improve productivity! “Training session to improve productivity at nursing care sites using technology” [for nursing care facilities in Tottori Prefecture] will be held on Wednesday, August 7th!

TRAPE Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, President and CEO: Daihiro Kamata) has been playing a leading role in developing measures in various countries to improve productivity in the nursing care field since 2017, including creating guidelines for improving productivity in nursing care. In order to create a nursing care facility filled with well-being, we offer a productivity improvement support service that can achieve three things at once: “increase productivity,” “increase job satisfaction,” and “nurturing leaders.” We are developing “Sociwell”.

On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, the 1st training session “Technology” was held, sponsored by the Tottori branch of the Nursing Care Work Stability Center, a public interest incorporated foundation that serves as the Tottori consultation desk for the development, demonstration, and dissemination of nursing care robots, etc. in 2024. Representative Kamata will be speaking as a lecturer at a training session on improving productivity at nursing care sites through the use of

Background of this seminar

In the nursing care remuneration revision that began in April 2021, initiatives for “productivity improvement (work improvement)” were set as the third pillar, and became an essential condition for calculating treatment improvement additions and productivity improvement promotion system additions. I did. To put it simply, the purpose of productivity improvement efforts is to make nursing care professionals (workers) and users (families) full of well-being. To achieve this, change is necessary, and there is a great need for a change in the mindset and action of managers.

On the other hand, perhaps due to the influence of the remuneration revision in 2020, there are voices such as “We have to take steps to improve productivity” and “Initiatives to improve productivity = we have to introduce technology.” “However, it is difficult to take the first step because I don’t have an image in mind.” “I feel that efforts to improve productivity are not suitable for the nursing care industry.” “I tried introducing technology once, but it didn’t go well halfway through, and I gave up.” A variety of voices are coming out from nursing care facilities, such as “…”

Recently, the use of technology has been talked about as an important means in efforts to improve productivity. However, in order to effectively utilize technology to produce results, it is important to understand what we are aiming for, what the current situation is, and how to use what technology to address the current issues that have become clear. Therefore, it is important to steadily repeat dialogue and actions among each and every stakeholder.
