About wiping lotion and the skin type of the respondents
We asked the following questions regarding the respondents’ skin type and past use of lotion.
– Which skin type is closest to yours?
– Have you ever experienced rough skin or skin problems after using a wipe-off lotion in the past?
About the respondent’s skin type
First, we will introduce the skin type of the respondents. Japanese skin types can be roughly divided into the following four types. – Dry skin (low moisture/low sebum)
– Combination skin (low moisture/high sebum)
– Oily skin (high water content/high sebum content)
– Normal skin (high moisture content/low sebum content)
Source: Granza Beauty
– Dry skin (low moisture/low sebum): approx. 31%
– Combination skin (low moisture/high sebum): approx. 44%
– Oily skin (high water content/high sebum content): approx. 10% – Normal skin (high water content/low sebum content): approx. 15% This time, the most common skin type was combination skin (low moisture/high sebum), which is dry and has a lot of sebum. We also introduce comments about the reasons behind the “lotion wipes you’ll want to use,” which will be mentioned later. At that time, we also include your skin type, so please check out what people with the same skin type as you are choosing.
Wiping lotion and skin problems
Next to skin type, we asked if they had any skin problems while using the lotion wipes.
Source: Granza Beauty
– Have experienced skin problems: Approximately 33%
– No experience of skin problems: Approximately 67%
Approximately 33% of people answered that they had experienced skin problems. For people who often wear makeup on a daily basis, they will also use wipe-off lotion more often, so you should consider whether it is suitable for your skin type or not.
What should you consider when choosing a wipe-off lotion?
Here we will introduce what kind of wiping lotion the respondents use and what criteria they use when choosing a wiping lotion.
What type of lotion do you use?
There are generally two types of wipe-off lotion: liquid type and sheet type. Therefore, we asked the following questions about the type of lotion that respondents use on a daily basis.
Source: Granza Beauty
– Liquid type: approx. 64%
– Seat type: approx. 36%
Approximately 64% of people answered that it was a liquid type. Liquid types often come in bottles and are used by soaking cotton in them. You can use it at home in the amount you like, and it’s perfect if you want to use it on other areas besides your face. Larger bottles are also available, so it is recommended for those who are conscious of cost performance.
Approximately 36% of people chose the seat type. The sheet type is originally a type that has lotion soaked into the sheet, making it easy to carry.
What are the criteria when choosing a wipe-off lotion?
So, what criteria do you actually use to choose a wiping lotion? Source: Granza Beauty
– Does it suit your skin type: about 48%
– Contains ingredients that prevent dead skin and pore clogging: Approximately 12%
– Type (liquid type/sheet type): Approx. 11%
– Contains whitening effect/stain prevention ingredients: Approximately 10% – Does it have a cleansing function: about 10%
– Items that can also be used to wash your face: Approximately 5% – Fragrance: approx. 2%
– Contains anti-inflammatory and bactericidal ingredients: Approximately 1% – Texture: approx. 1%
The most frequently asked question was “Does it suit my skin type?” at about 48%. Since it’s something you use on a daily basis, you’ll want to consider matching it to your skin type. Next, they seem to be concerned about whether they can take care of their skin problems, such as “preventing keratin plugs and pore clogging,” “whitening,” “cleansing,” “facial washing,” and “whether or not it has anti-inflammatory effects.” .

When choosing a product, rather than skin type, factors such as whether it can take care of skin problems, what ingredients it contains, ease of use, and the sense of security that comes from the manufacturer and brand name recognition had a big influence on the product.
summary
It was found that approximately 48% of people are concerned about whether the wipe-off lotion matches their skin type. They also seem to be concerned about whether they can take care of their own skin problems.
On the other hand, when we asked them which of the products they would like to try, it seemed that they were more concerned with caring for skin problems than with skin type. After all, since the product is used on a daily basis, it seems important to consider the effect it has on the skin and the sense of security of the product itself. *About details about this release*
