The Corporate Mecenat Association (5-3-2 Shiba, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Masumi Natsuzaka) is a public interest incorporated association (5-3-2 Shiba, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Masumi Natsuzaka) that is a certification system for mécénat (creating a prosperous society through art and culture) activities carried out by companies and corporate foundations. “This is MECENAT 2024”, 177 companies (119 companies/organizations) were certified through screening by experts (document attached).
Various philanthropy activities were held across the country, and some companies and organizations were seen using art to promote local culture and position it as social capital. 42 new projects have been added, including museums, galleries, and halls that are regional cultural hubs, social activities that connect people and nature to a sustainable region, and video media aimed at supporting young artists and expanding the art market. Our activities have been certified, and the scope of this system is expanding.
