More than 70 staff dispatched to Nanao City and Noto Town to support Noto earthquake recovery
*Farmland restoration, disaster-stricken house cleaning, etc.* Pal System Group has begun reconstruction support activities in Nanao City and Noto Town, Ishikawa Prefecture. For the time being, more than 70 staff members will be dispatched to help with cleaning up damaged houses in Nanao City, and farmland restoration work in Noto Town. Collaboration with two donation recipient organizations
The support will be donated to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake Emergency Relief Fund, which was called for immediately after the earthquake, and will be sent to two organizations: the disaster area NGO Collaboration Center, a reconstruction support organization, and JA Noto, a direct production area. .

In Nanao City, we began activities on Wednesday, June 26th in cooperation with the NGO Collaboration Center in the Disaster Area. In addition to sorting, tidying up, and transporting household goods from disaster-stricken homes, we also assist with salon activities and community events. The support will continue until September, with approximately 45 people scheduled to be dispatched.

During the first dispatch, we assisted in cleaning up and transporting damaged houses and removing damaged walls and tatami mats. In between tasks, we listened to clients about their current situation and concerns, and heard comments such as “I live alone, so I couldn’t clean up the house,” and “When I think about my future, I’m not sure what to do.” .

In Noto Town, we will work with JA to install electric fences and cut grass in rice terraces starting Friday, June 28th. Some of the rice terraces in the JA area suffered damage such as collapse due to the earthquake. The work will help continue rice production. We plan to dispatch around 25 people by July.
