~30 years since the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake~ Summer vacation fire prevention and disaster prevention learning bus tour held The Toyonaka City Fire Department, together with the Toyonaka Fire Safety Association, will be holding a summer vacation fire and disaster prevention learning bus tour for elementary school students in the city. In recent years, large-scale earthquakes causing great damage and natural disasters of unprecedented scale have occurred frequently across the country. Furthermore, with the possibility of a Nankai Trough earthquake occurring, it is important to prepare for disasters through self-help and improve disaster prevention awareness. Through tours of the Kita-Osaka Fire Command Center, which opened on April 1st this year, elementary school students who have not experienced the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake can learn about fire prevention and disaster prevention, and by experiencing it, they can raise awareness of large-scale disasters that may occur at any time. The aim is to increase it.

1.10:30 Tour of Kita-Osaka Fire Department Command Center (Suita City). 2.12:00 Sakai City Comprehensive Disaster Prevention Center (Mihara Ward, Sakai City) Hands-on experience in fire prevention and disaster prevention.
This year, the Fire and Rescue Technology Kinki District Training Session will be held at the same facility for the first time on July 30th (Tuesday), so we will also be observing the training conducted by rescue teams just before the event.

It will be operated jointly by five cities (Toyonaka City, Suita City, Ikeda City, Minoh City, and Settsu City) from April 1, 2020. We have also begun operating a new system that can respond to large-scale disasters.
