“Summer Vacation SDGs Fair” will be held from August 1st (Thursday) to 4th (Sunday)!
*Four days of kids department store exploration, workshops to learn SDGs, dance stage, etc.*

The “Summer Vacation SDGs Fair” will be held at the 7th floor event hall for 4 days from August 1st (Thursday) to August 4th (Sunday), 2024. *
This event is part of the “Kami-Ooka Festival 2024,” which will be held throughout the building from July 20th (Saturday) to August 21st (Wednesday). This is an event held together with local schools and business partners.
At this “Summer Vacation SDGs Fair”, we will be holding the Keikyu Line Childcare Support Network “Weavee Marche” for the first time. Weavee is an initiative by Keikyu Corporation to build a network that collaborates with child-rearing circles and communities along Keikyu lines, and companies that support child-rearing, and to create an environment that circulates the skills of mom creators who make use of their individual interests and strengths in the region. In this activity, seven organizations will be selling handmade miscellaneous goods and holding workshops on a rotating basis.
In addition, with the aim of creating a sustainable society for Keikyu Corporation, spoons were made using thinned wood thinned through the Miura Forest Project, which manages company-owned forests near urban areas on the Miura Peninsula in a sound manner. A total of 7 organizations participated in the program, including “Let’s design an eco bag with parents and children!” and a participatory program in which students from Yokohama Municipal Minami High School in Konan Ward introduce their efforts in class to learn about the SDGs. We will be holding a workshop where parents and children can learn together.

(2) Konan Ward Office/Yokohama City Resources and Recycling Bureau “Learn how to separate garbage and recyclables!”
In addition to events for parents and children to play, there will also be a plastic waste campaign starting in October.
