Picture books create a rich world through painstaking pictures and words. It is a medium that can be enjoyed not only by children but also by adults, allowing people of all ages to discover new things. Currently, many picture book authors live and work in Hyogo
Prefecture. BL Publishing Co., Ltd. in Hyogo Ward, Kobe City has been publishing a wide variety of picture books for half a century. This exhibition will introduce valuable original drawings and materials from the many picture books that the company has produced. Enjoy 220 works and materials by 33 artists.
“ Koiso Works Selection I” will display works by Koiso from our museum’s collection.
