New TV commercial for “Asahi Draft Beer” (commonly known as Maruev) featuring Kyoko Yoshine, “Summer Countryside and Otsukare Nama.” will start airing on July 6th.

Asahi Breweries, Ltd. (Headquarters Tokyo, President
Kazuo Matsuyama) will be airing a new TV commercial for Asahi Draft Beer, nicknamed “Maruev,” starting July 6th, titled “Summer
Countryside and Otsukare Nama.” Kyoko Yoshine will continue to appear in the TV commercial.

The episode “Summer in the countryside and being a hard worker” begins with a scene in which Mr. Yoshine visits a relative’s house in the countryside, where he often visited with his parents when he was a child. While relaxing at a relative’s house, saying, “I need time to be myself,” a relative offers me a cold Maruev and toasts, saying, “Well then, Seno, thank you for your hard work.” I am drawing the situation. Through the exchanges between an elderly relative and Mr. Yoshine, saying “Welcome back” and “I’m home,” as well as scenes of them chatting while drinking “Maruef.”
It creates a “warm world view”. A 60-second TV commercial will also be aired this time.

“Asahi Draft Beer” is a beer that is characterized by its “mellow and umami” taste. It was released in 1986 (Showa 61) and became a stepping stone to the success of “Super Dry” the following year. After that, in order to concentrate the production system at that time on “Super Dry”, cans and bottles were discontinued in 1993, but the taste continued to be loved by restaurants and we continued to sell only barrels. Ta. The popular contents remain the same as when they were first released, but the packaging has been significantly changed and the cans will be released again in September 2021.

In 2023, we started the “Thank you, everyone in Japan! Project” with the aim of allowing more customers to experience the “mellow flavor” and “warm view of the world.” “Maruev Yokocho”, which travels all over Japan, has so far been held in the Kyushu area, Chugoku-Shikoku area, Kanto and Koshinetsu areas, and the total number of visitors exceeded 60,000, and we have been able to offer “Asahi draft beer” to many customers. I enjoyed it. Starting in June of this year, we will gradually roll out the service in the Tohoku area.
