We plan to update once a week.
In addition, it is expressed in an easy-to-understand manner with reference to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s “Analysis and general comments on the latest monitoring items.” We hope this will be helpful in understanding the situation in the prefecture. The pandemic of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has been declared over by the WHO, and normal life is returning to normal in our country. We continue to provide information in the hope that it will be helpful for infection prevention measures in daily life. Thank you for your support. *After transition to Category 5, the number of reported patients per sentinel is used.
◆Analysis of infection status and medical provision system [as of Friday, July 5, 2024]
Level 2. There are signs of infection spread and caution is required [Last time (Friday, June 28, 2024): Level 2. There are signs of the spread of infection and caution is required]
The number of patients reported per sentinel has increased to 3.70. RSV infections and hand-foot-and-mouth disease are on the rise, and group A beta-hemolytic streptococcal pharyngitis is also more common than in previous years.
Both nationwide and in Okayama, the number of new coronavirus infections is on the rise. One year has passed since the transition to Category 5, but it is expected that the number of cases will continue to increase during periods when there is a large flow of people, and the number of cases is expected to increase into the summer. If you are feeling unwell, it is important to refrain from meeting people, use masks appropriately depending on the situation, and provide adequate ventilation.
The number of hospitalized patients is increasing, and the number of positive cases continues, so caution is required. High-risk patients require early diagnosis and treatment.
