For cats, staying in a pet hotel where they are separated from their owners can be very stressful. In order to alleviate that anxiety, we at “Nyan no Ouchi” aim to create a hotel where both owners and cats can feel at ease, by making sure that the cats feel as normal as possible.
Authentic environmental enrichment
“Nyan no Ouchi” is particular about environmental enrichment (adding ingenuity to the living environment so that animals can draw out behaviors typical of their species).
With the advice of zookeepers and the cooperation of veterinarians specializing in animal behavior, the design is designed to be sensitive to feline behavior. The facility has been designed with consideration to cat behavior and psychology, including a three-step staircase that allows for up and down movement, a place to hide, and the use of pheromones that are sensitive to cats’ sense of smell. As a base for pet guardianship and behavioral problem treatment In addition, “Nyan no Ouchi” is a “Human and Animal Coexistence Center” that aims to create a society where everyone can live with their pets with peace of mind until the end.In the unlikely event of an emergency, the “Cat House” will take over the responsibility of caring for pets for the rest of their lives.
