Design is not just about creating a beautiful appearance, but is also widely used as a process or method for systematically constructing things to achieve a purpose or goal. It also plays an important role in a variety of areas, including product appearance and functionality, advertising, and the usability of websites and apps. Basic knowledge of design is important not only for graphic designers and web designers, but also for people involved in all kinds of creative work, such as video creators, directors, and marketers. In this seminar series, Keiichi Masuda, who not only administers qualifications and produces teaching materials related to graphic design, web design, and video production, but also works as a lecturer at a vocational school, will be on stage to provide an easy-to-understand explanation of the basics of design. Masu.
In this 15th installment, we will talk about decorations around the world. Decoration refers to designs and decorations done for the purpose of pursuing beauty. Specifically, it refers to patterns, carvings, etc. added to the surfaces or surroundings of buildings, furniture, clothing, crafts, etc. They vary by culture and era, and may include designs and motifs based on specific cultures and traditions. There is a wide variety of styles and techniques for decoration around the world. They reflect the history, religion, environment, aesthetics, and values of each culture and region, and have developed along with historical backgrounds and advances in technology. It is not just an aesthetic element, but can also have social and religious meanings. By learning about decorations from around the world, you can expand your horizons as a creator and use them as hints to use in new ideas and your own designs.
Next time, we will explain patterns from around the world (scheduled for August 22nd). Please feel free to take this course as well. We also accept requests and consultations for training and instructors for Mr. Keiichi Masuda, who will be the instructor for this seminar. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested.
