Regarding the payment methods most used at restaurants, 85% of the respondents chose cashless payment such as credit card payment or QR code payment, while 15% of the respondents chose cash payment. became. By age group, we found that people in their 60s are the most likely to use credit and debit card payments.
QR code payments are used equally by all age groups, and electronic money payments are noticeably less common among people in their 60s, but are used equally among all other age groups.
The majority of people in their 50s chose to pay in cash, but there was also a large proportion of people in their 20s.

When we asked people who primarily pay in cash at restaurants why they do so, the most common answer (65%) was to prevent overspending. A characteristic of credit card payments is that the amount used is often debited from the following month onwards. It is thought that those who choose to pay in cash are those who feel that the
