Marukome Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagano City, President and CEO: Tokio Aoki) announced in early September that it will be selling “Umaji Village Yuzu Miso,” which uses yuzu juice from Umaji Village, Kochi Prefecture, which is known for its yuzu production. It will be sold nationwide. In addition, the packaging of the conventional products “Dengaku Miso”, “Karashi Vinegar Miso”, “Vinegar Miso”, and “Moromi Miso” will be renewed and will be sold nationwide from early September.

“Umaji Village Yuzu Miso” is a yuzu miso that allows you to enjoy the sourness and refreshing taste unique to Umaji Village’s yuzu juice. The aroma and bitterness are brought out by combining Yuzu Chinpi from Kochi Prefecture. With its smooth texture and deep flavor, you can enjoy seasonal ingredients such as vegetables and fish even more deliciously. It goes well with furofuki radish and aemono dishes, as well as amberjack and yellowtail, and can be enjoyed in a wide range of ways, including as a dipping sauce for shabu-shabu. Taking advantage of Yuzu Miso, the packaging of conventional products has also been renewed.
The conventional products “Dengaku Miso”, “Karashi Vinegar Miso”, “Vinegar Miso”, and “Moromi Miso” have also been redesigned with package designs that allow you to see the color inside. Dengaku miso is rich in flavor, emphasizing the handmade feel. The secret ingredient in mustard vinegar miso is kelp stock. We were particular about not adding any umami seasonings to the vinegared miso. Moromi miso has a deep flavor that is a blend of three types of miso. Enjoy the season with a lineup that allows you to enjoy the ingredients even more deliciously.

Dengaku miso is a flavorful combination of Saikyo-style white miso and bean miso. We do not use umami seasonings so that you can enjoy the original flavor of the ingredients. By heating and mixing, we achieved a taste similar to that of handmade products.

This vinegared miso has a refreshing sourness that gives you the mellow taste of Saikyo-style white miso. Finished with black vinegar for a deep flavor. No dashi is added to make it easier to use in Western dishes such as dressings mixed with olive oil.

A combination of three types of miso: rice miso, barley miso, and bean miso for a rich, rich flavor. The grainy texture of Koji Biton and Barley Miso easily entangles with the ingredients and brings out the original taste of the ingredients.
