The members-only restaurant “Japanese Restaurant Takamura” will grandly open “Kashi Takamura” on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Kamiyacho Place (next to Azabudai Hills).

New sweets “Yai Hagoromo” made with melting gyuhi
“Hagoromo”, which is usually only available to members of the Akita main store, is a new type of exquisite sweet that melts in the mouth the moment you put it in your mouth. We use special rice flour made from mochi rice grown with great care by contract farmers in Akita. The 7-day pop-up store at Azabudai Hills Market was a success and sold out every day. We will be moving to Kamiyacho Place next to Azabudai Hills and will be holding a grand opening on Wednesday, July 17th. Please try “Yai”, a new texture sweet that melts on your tongue. The marriage of “Satoyama Coffee Special Blend”, which is specially blended to match “Yai”, and “Yai” is truly exquisite.

This is a masterpiece made by wrapping dried mango that has been rehydrated in a mango pudding that has been made to be firm. The skin is also wrapped in cinnamon skin.

“Japanese Cuisine Takamura”
“Japanese Restaurant Takamura” is located in a quiet residential area in Akita City. He trained at Taikohachi, a long-established Edo cuisine restaurant in Mejiro, Tokyo, and opened Takamura in his hometown of Akita in 1999, inheriting Taikohachi’s Edo cuisine in 2019. You can feel the “chic” that has been passed down over many years through the careful preparation that goes into even the hidden parts and the deeply nutritious dishes that bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients.
