Overseas travel booking app “NEWT” teams up with Jeju Special Self-governing Province, Jeju Tourism Organization, and Korea Tourism Organization to hold a “Photo Contest Tour” with photographer Ayane. *
Reiwa Travel Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Takaya Shinozuka), which operates the overseas travel reservation app “NEWT,” is backed by Jeju Special Self-governing Province, Jeju Tourism Organization, and Korea Tourism Organization. We will be holding a photo contest tour of Jeju, South Korea with popular photographer Ayane. *
Jeju is also called the Hawaii of Korea. This island, which can be reached in about 3 hours by direct flight from Narita Airport, is full of natural beauty such as the emerald green sea and world heritage sites such as gigantic rock mountains and lava tubes. There are plenty of gourmet foods, including fresh seafood and Seoul’s popular bagel shops, as well as stylish museums and cute cafes along the coast. It is a popular spot that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways.
In the monitor tour we are recruiting for this time, participants will visit photogenic spots in Jeju with popular photographer Ayane for 2 nights and 3 days, and will share images of Jeju from various perspectives on their personal SNS. During the tour, a photo contest will be held on SNS with “#Jeju you want to take”. Since the coronavirus pandemic has ended, travel to Seoul has returned to around 70% of its pre-coronavirus level, mainly due to popularity among young people, but demand for travel to regional areas such as Jeju has not fully recovered yet. Therefore, we teamed up with Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, Jeju Tourism Organization, and Korea Tourism Organization to capture Jeju, which is perfect for Generation Z, who is NEWT’s main customer, from various perspectives unique to the digital native generation, and share its charm with the world. In order to spread the word again, we have decided to hold this monitor tour.

Freelance photographer who loves creative photography methods and spectacular scenery. After buying a camera to go to Salar de Uyuni, he fell in love with photography, and after two years he gave up his childhood dream of working as a researcher and became a freelance photographer in Australia. Even after returning to Japan, he continues to share photos and videos, and has a total of over 1.5 million followers on SNS.
