D4DJ releases the official report of “Abyssmare 1st Concert -ARK-” daytime performance!
DONUTS Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Keisei Nishimura) is pleased to announce the first solo concert of Abyssmare, a DJ unit of the DJ-themed media mix project “D4DJ”.
1st Concert -ARK-” at Tokorozawa Sakura Town Japan Pavilion
It was held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Hall A (Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture).
* ■Abyssmare’s first solo concert! Stir the hearts of the audience with a story-like production*
This is Abyssmare’s first solo concert, and the setlist is a story. May’n (as Neo), Yuka Aisaka (as Sophia), Jenna Tomomi Sumi (as Elsie), and Misuzu Yamada (as Veronica) filled the venue with the colors of Abyssmare with their exquisite singing voices and music.
The concert started with silhouettes of the members flowing one after another, the letters “ARK” and a melody that made you feel the beginning of the story. The atmosphere was completely different from D4DJ’s live performances, and the excitement in the venue immediately rose.
When the curtain falls, the members of Abyssmare are all assembled! Holding a flag in one hand, he began to sing “AXIS the
world” signaled the start of the concert, followed by the set list that included “WINNER”.
After the venue became bright and they finished their greetings, they performed cover songs such as “Red Fraction,” “Kaibutsu,” and “The Sixth Sense.” “Take Me
After singing “On” in a calm atmosphere, Neo was called by Abyssmare’s producer to do the part of the story.
“I AM THE BEST” begins after an exchange between Neo and the producer, but Neo is unable to sing to the end and the song ends.
“Raindrops” started when it started raining. The song that is sung in a flowing manner depicting Sophia’s state of mind is followed by “Ephemeral but Eternal Kanashi.” Elsie and Veronica’s feelings for Neo flow in the background, and Neo regains his confidence in “STORY,” which begins with Neo’s solo while accepting those feelings. When “I AM THE BEST” was played again, Neo sang it loudly until the end, and it was a part that made you feel the bond of Abyssmare. “Bailulabai” began with Elsie’s cute singing voice, with a call and response part and Sophia’s DJ performance. Next, the new song “Now”, which was just implemented in the game in July 2024, was performed. or Never”. Abyssmare’s summer tune echoed through the venue while stirring up the audience.
The last song is the first single “Get into the Abyssmare”. Four people, led by Neo, delivered the finest singing voices to the audience.
In the final greetings, each member talked about their thoughts on their first solo concert, and the concert was over…but just as they thought the concert was over, a new song “ARK”, written specifically for this concert, was played during the encore. The lyrics were written by the four of them for the first time, and the song, which seemed like a light shining into the abyss, excited the venue.
