As part of the Kariya Smart City initiative promoted by Kariya City, Moritaka will conduct a demonstration experiment of Kariya City’s original traffic safety education content, “Aisin XR Quest.” “Aisin
Kariya City provides opportunities for children to receive guidance from educational institutions such as schools, traffic safety education at preschools, nursery schools, and elementary schools, and traffic safety education by traffic instructors. On the other hand, for adults, there is an issue in that it is difficult to change their behavior by simply providing regular traffic safety education and awareness.
Therefore, we will provide a new value experience by applying our mobility technology such as traffic flow prediction and virtual space platform technology used for factory safety education. By conducting demonstration experiments on traffic safety education through an immersive experience in a virtual space, we will improve traffic safety awareness, especially among adults, and contribute to the realization of a safe society free of accidents.

・You will have an immersive experience by wearing VR goggles and participating in a quest to reach the destination within the time limit while observing traffic safety rules at the North Exit of Kariya Station, which has been realistically recreated in the Metaverse. ・After the experience, you can review your own actions in the Metaverse with a video and check whether you have violated any traffic rules, thereby verifying its effectiveness in improving safety awareness.
*In consideration of the fact that this is a demonstration experiment aimed at adults, people must be 18 years or older to experience wearing VR goggles. Those under the age of 18 can experience “Aisin XR Quest” using a PC.
