Born in Tokyo. He started playing rugby in the first grade of elementary school and went on to Toin Gakuen High School, where he won the championship at Hanazono. After that, he entered Meiji University, where he was appointed captain in his fourth year and advanced to the top four in the university championship. After graduating, he joined Suntory and played in every game in his rookie year, scoring a try in the opening game. He will also be called up to the Japan national team in the spring of the 2021 season. In the 2022-23 season, he will appear in 18 games, including 10 starts. In the summer of 2023, he was selected as a candidate for the Japan national team and will play as a member of the Barbarians. He will join his new team, Yokohama Canon Eagles, from the 2024-25 season.
