Cocktail event “SG Group’s 50 of 50 BEST FEAST” will be held on September 1st to commemorate the 50th award of 50 BEST BARS
*SG Group’s bars, which have won 50 “World/Asia’s Best Bars” awards, gather in Marunouchi*
SG Group, which operates bars in Japan and overseas, has selected THE WORLD’S / ASIA’S 50 BEST BARS, which selects the best bars from around the world and Asia.
To commemorate the 50th award, the most in history, SG Group’s cocktail event will bring together all the bars that have received awards in the group.
50 of 50 BEST FEAST” will be held in Marunouchi, Tokyo on Sunday, September 1, 2024.
In this event, five bars led by Shingo Gokan, who has won 50 BEST BARS awards, will gather in Tokyo.
Speak Low, Sober Company, The Odd Couple (Shanghai), The SG Club (Shibuya), El Lequio (Okinawa) bartenders will be serving their signature cocktails, and there will also be a bartender from Atsushi Suzuki, who was active at SG Group until 2023.
Bellwood (Shibuya) will also be added.
The venue was The SG, a new store that the group just opened in May of this year in Marunouchi, Tokyo.
The event will be held at “Tavern”, and the day will be divided into two parts, with three bars performing together in each slot. For one day only, there will be literally 50 restaurants and bars that usually serve cocktails with a special focus on Japanese sake and local cuisine from around the world.
It will transform into a cocktail palace where you can fully enjoy BEST BARS.

BEST BARS”, “ASIA’S 50 BEST BARS” and “NORTH AMERICA’S 50 BEST” Regional versions of “BARS” have been released.
The awards panel is made up of experts, including renowned bartenders, cocktail specialists, writers, and educators, who rank the bars they think are the best among the bars they visited during the eligible period. It is the widest and most prestigious award that covers virtually every bar in the world, reflecting the diversity of global drinks culture.

“El Lequio”, the group’s first Okinawa store, is a branch of the Ryukyu Kingdom that was once part of Spain and Portugal during the Age of Exploration.

The Bellwood (Shibuya)

Group representative. Started his career as a bartender in 2001. After moving to the United States alone in 2006, he honed his skills at a prestigious bar in New York, and in 2012 won a prize at Bacardi, the world’s largest cocktail competition.
Participated in Legacy as a representative of the United States and won the world championship. In 2017, Tales of the Cocktail’s “International
Bartender of the Year”.
As an individual award in Asia’s 50 Best Bars, the bartender chosen by bartenders in 2019 “Bartenders”
