Nowadays, smartphones have become necessary in every aspect of daily life. In addition to relatively new services such as smartphone payments, online lessons, and online supermarkets, there are also membership cards, recipe searches, flight and travel reservations, health records, and bank account management that were previously available on analog devices. Increasingly, analog services are being reduced or abolished due to conversion to apps and online services. However, the reality is that many people in Japan today, especially the senior generation, are not good at using smartphones. Although they are aware that in the future we will live in a society where being able to use a smartphone is a prerequisite, they say, “I’ve only used messaging apps and internet searches,” and “My child has set everything up for me, so I don’t know how to use it myself.” I’m sure there are many of you.
This community is a place where seniors can easily talk about their expectations and concerns about smartphones, learn about smartphone services provided by various companies, and take the first step to try using them together.
Nowadays, more than half of Japanese people are over 50 years old. Considering the future development of society, it can be said that it is a challenge for society as a whole to enable seniors to use smartphones and digital devices. By participating in the community, we aim to become a place where many people can take on the challenge of using smartphone services and lead a convenient and fulfilling life.
To commemorate the opening, we will give away an Amazon gift card (1,000 yen worth) to those who register in this community, post comments on three or more themes in the community, and fill out the application form during the campaign period. ) will be running a campaign where 100 people will win.
