Certified NPO CLACK will hold the pre-employment support program “Be Pro” for high school students from August 19th to 23rd. ~ Expanding options for employment at IT companies for high school graduates ~ *Certified NPO CLACK*
Press release: August 9, 2024
**
Certified NPO CLACK will hold the pre-employment support program “Be Pro” for high school students from August 19th to 23rd. ~ Expanding options for employment at IT companies for high school graduates ~ *Learn basic Salesforce skills in 5 days during summer vacation. After taking the course, you can also visit an IT company and intern* * “Be” is a pre-employment support program for high school students run by the certified NPO CLACK (hereinafter referred to as CLACK). “Pro” is a program that is supported by Salesforce Japan Co., Ltd., and is aimed at high school students who are in difficult financial situations. They can take a Salesforce certification course and take a company tour at an IT company for five days during their summer vacation. Announcing that it will be implemented. *
* “Be
“Pro” is a program for high school students that aims to produce technology talent by acquiring specialized skills. In addition to participating in the 5-day program, those who wish to do so will also be able to do an internship at a company where they can utilize the skills they have acquired. By not only learning skills but also putting them into practice, we provide high school students with opportunities to become interested in their own careers and expand their range of options. *

* This time, it has been decided that it will be held simultaneously in Tokyo and Osaka from August 19th (Monday) to August 23rd (Friday), 2024, taking advantage of the summer vacation. *

*
We would like to inform you that 4 days out of the 5 days will be made available to the press only. We would like to ask all interested members of the press to consider interviewing and visiting the facility. *

* ◼️The job opening ratio for high school graduates is 3.98 times, with over 120,000 job seekers. *
The latest number of high school graduates seeking employment is approximately 121,000 (*1), and the number of university graduates seeking employment is 455,000 (*2). While the number of people seeking employment remains high, the number of high school graduates seeking employment is by no means small.
Additionally, due to the serious labor shortage, many companies are looking to hire young talent as soon as possible.* The job offer ratio for high school graduates seeking employment is 3.98 times, the highest level ever.*
(*1).
However, it has been revealed that the turnover rate for high school graduates who find employment within three years is as high as 40%, and more than a quarter of them, or 10.7%, leave their jobs within six months (*3).
This is because there are no role models after getting a job, there are few opportunities for career education to consider future lifestyle and career path before job hunting, and lack of information during job hunting such as “looking at only one company to get a job” These factors have been cited as factors that cause a state of low autonomy in one’s work life and lead to early quitting.

Early job separation is seen as a problem as it may lead to subsequent entrenchment of non-regular employment and unemployment among young people.
By learning highly specialized skills through “Pro” and providing opportunities for company tours and internships at IT companies, it provides an opportunity for both those seeking employment and those wishing to go to further education to find career options, which is a factor that leads to early resignation. We believe that we can also contribute to solving the problem.

(*The company conducting the internship is not Salesforce Japan Co., Ltd.)

In the group work in the previous course, each group gave a variety of presentations based on familiar topics such as “How to use Salesforce for a high school cultural festival.”
What happened when “Be Pro” was implemented in the past

* -Voices from past participating students-*
Mr. A:
What impressed me most was the background stories of the employees. I’m thinking of getting a job after graduating from high school, but I haven’t decided on a specific career path yet, so I was nervous. However, as I listened to the stories of our employees, I began to feel that there is no need to rush. There are many paths. It was really helpful. I had a very valuable experience for 5 days!

Mr. B:
At first, I was worried because I’m not good with computers, but after taking Bepro this time, I found it to be surprisingly fun and wanted to learn more. Also, at the career talk, I was able to learn about various people’s experiences, what I learned from them, and their values, which was an unprecedented experience. Being able to participate in this program was a valuable opportunity to learn about Salesforce and gain new values. I also wanted to take advantage of opportunities like this and try out different things.

It is common for people to get a job at an IT company by graduating from a university or vocational school, but by creating role models who can get a job at an IT company as a career path after graduating from high school, it is possible to get a job at an IT company because the cost of going to college is an issue.
