National high school student art competition winner decided! LIMITS High School Tournament 2024
*Winner: Shoei Gakuen High School (Saitama)/Momotamago*
The LIMITS High School Students Tournament Executive Committee held the LIMITS High School Students Tournament 2024 Finals on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Takarazuka University’s Tokyo-Shinjuku Campus.
Participation in this competition is not limited to art clubs. This is a national competition for high school students involved in drawings such as illustration, art, manga, anime, and design. Create art using digital equipment within a 20 minute time limit. The winner or loser will be determined by the completed work and the production process.
Team competition with 1 to 3 people.
Expression methods such as illustrations, animation, manga, etc. are free. Professional creators and industry figures will be invited to serve as judges. The competition is not a contest format and is held on stage. Participants will compete to see how well they can use their creativity to convey a message to the audience/judges in front of them.
This year’s second edition of the tournament attracted entries from over 130 teams from all over the country.
Selection based on production video submission in May,
The eight teams that won the June online qualifiers gathered together to compete in a tournament format.
