Do it Theater, which has been in charge of “Shinagawa Open Theater” since 2016 when it held vol.1, is one of Japan’s largest cinema festivals, “SEASIDE.
CINEMA”, “Drive-in Theater”, “Onboard Theater”, “Open Theater” We are a theater production team that has created a new style of theater experience such as “Restaurant”.
Shinagawa Open Theater, which will be held for the 12th time this year, is an outdoor theater event that attracts attention every time with venue decorations that make you feel like you have stepped into the world of movies and a bright red carpet that stretches toward Tokyo Tower. In an urban space surrounded by greenery unique to Shinagawa Season Terrace, you can enjoy an unforgettable movie experience on the huge screen while relaxing freely on the spacious lawn.

This time, in conjunction with “Spider-Man: Across the
Spider-Verse,” the venue will feature pop-style American comic book-style decorations similar to Marvel comics, as well as photo spots featuring motifs that appear in the movie. Please enjoy the spatial presentation that is made only for that day with attention to detail.
*Shinagawa Open Theater’s first animation screening and opening movie workshop* “Shinagawa Open Theater
Vol. 12” will feature Marvel Comics’ popular hero work “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.” The sight of Spider-Man and his friends “defying fate and deciding their own story” will give courage to adults and children of all ages.
The biggest highlight is the revolutionary visual expression that maximizes the setting of the “multiverse,” where many Spider-Men wander from other universes. Spider-Man characters with completely different touches created by the world’s top creators, such as graffiti art, watercolors, and 3DCG, fly across the screen in all directions.
In addition to the fast-paced action scenes unique to Spider-Man, there are many must-see points, including vivid and innovative American comic book-style productions and small stories scattered throughout.
Furthermore, as a special project this year, an “Opening Movie Workshop” will be held where people from the Shinagawa Konan area will create and perform. Story: Miles, a high school student who inherited Spider-Man after Peter Parker’s death. Reuniting with Gwen, who fought alongside him, he arrives at the center of the multiverse, where Spider-Men chosen from various universes gather. There, Miles saw the future. It was a sad fate that previous Spider-Men had accepted: they couldn’t save their loved ones and the world at the same time. [“Shinagawa Konan” area growing towards the future]
The Shinagawa Konan area, where Shinagawa Season Terrace is located, is located at the Konan exit on the east side of Shinagawa Station, and is a worker’s town where some of Japan’s largest companies gather, but it is also a residential area with large tower apartments and the largest number of children in Minato Ward. Home to a proud elementary school and a national maritime university, it is a city where people from a wide variety of industries, skills, nationalities, and ages work, live, and learn. A new “Konan Exit” is scheduled to be built at Takanawa Gateway Station around 2025, which is expected to bring even more people into the area and drive growth for the entire town.
