Jinjiv and RePlayce announce business partnership aimed at creating a society where high school students can choose from a variety of career paths
Jinjibu Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jinjibu), which supports high school students in finding employment, and RePlayce Co., Ltd. (read Replace, hereafter referred to as RePlayce), which operates a career exploration service for junior high and high school students, have entered into a business partnership regarding career education and career selection support. We will start.
Through this collaboration, we aim to create a society where high school students have a more diverse range of career choices.
*Background of business alliance*
According to the results of a survey of junior high and high school students nationwide conducted by RePlayce in April 2024, only 5% of students were able to seek career advice from adults other than their families or school personnel. There is data that says that because there are not enough opportunities for “work experience and field trips” at school, there are “fewer opportunities to think about the future, and I don’t have a concrete image.” (*1)
In addition, in a survey of people who graduated from high school and found employment conducted by Ginjibu, when asked about “What I wish I had been taught when I was in high school,” there were many responses that “I wish I had been taught things related to
self-understanding and social understanding.” did. (*2).
From this, we can see that there is a need for career education opportunities that do not rely solely on school teachers.
Furthermore, the “Career Education Guide” in the curriculum guidelines also mentions the need for career education in collaboration with society and external specialized organizations.
RePlayce plans to open a high school in the spring of 2025, leveraging the know-how it has cultivated through implementing a career education project for middle and high school students called “Work Club.” At the correspondence support school “HR High School,” we will create a new learning space that will “nurturing the next generation in society as a whole” with the participation of leading experts from various companies and industries.
Jinjibu supports high school students’ job hunting. We offer “Job Draft Career,” a career education program that provides opportunities for people to think about their careers before deciding on a career path, and “Job Draft Career,” which allows employees to experience work from many companies in one day. For high school students who have decided to find a job, we also provide support when choosing a career path, such as job information sites, joint company information sessions, and classes.
As one of the career education initiatives of HR High School, which provides opportunities to learn about careers in a practical manner, we have decided to introduce support when choosing a career path, including Job Draft Career.
The two companies will also work together to make the career choices of high school students more free, independent, and diverse. *1) Source: A nationwide awareness survey of junior high and high school students regarding school life and career education (RePlayce) https://replayce.co.jp/news/01hthqjdvt56tjk0p77h71bdfh

* ■About job hunting for high school students*
According to an announcement by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, the job-to-applicant ratio for high school graduates graduating in March 2024 is 3.98 times, the highest level ever since statistics began in 1985. Recruiting high school graduates is attracting attention against the backdrop of the recovery in economic activity after the coronavirus and the looming labor shortage in 2025, when the baby boomer generation will reach the elderly.
For high school students, it is currently a “seller’s market.” However, high school job hunting is limited by introductions from high schools, written information centered on conditions on job postings, short job hunting periods, and in many regions, each person initially applies to only one company. It is generally done in the environment. Early turnover due to mismatched employment due to lack of information before applying is an issue for both high school students and companies.
Ginjiv provides job hunting support for students attending HR High School to support their independent job hunting.
* ■Message from the representative*
* Masahiro Yamamoto (RePlayce Co., Ltd. Representative Director and CEO) * It is a great honor for us to be able to collaborate with Jinjib, who continues to be a top runner in career education for high school students, and to be able to support high school students in their career education and career selection.
Generally speaking, high school students in Japan can only choose one company for employment, but by choosing a career path that allows them to work at a variety of companies, more and more high school students will become excited about entering the workforce. I think this will lead to something like this. We will also contribute to improving the employment of high school graduates, which has a high turnover rate.
