[Suzunoya Main Store Final] Kimono exhibition and sales event “Kiyo Suzuen” will be held! From Thursday, August 22nd to Monday, August 26th, 2024
*Suzunoya will hold a summer tradition at the Ueno main store just before relocation and closing! Mr. Yasumasa Komiya, a Living National Treasure of Edo Komon, will also be in attendance. *
Suzunoya, which celebrates its 77th anniversary this year, will hold a kimono exhibition and sales event called “Keisuzuen” at its Ueno main store. This year’s event will be held for 5 days from Thursday, August 22nd to Monday, August 26th, 2024.
We offer a wide range of gorgeous products, including weaving, dyeing, and embroidery, that are still alive with the traditions of master craftsmen. Please take this opportunity to purchase a special kimono just for you that will brighten up the sunny days of your life. The venue, the Ueno main store, will be relocated and closed on September 16th. Suzunoya was born in Ueno Hirokoji in September 1945 during post-war reconstruction.
This is the last Kiyosuen garden before the historic Suzunoya Main Store relocates and closes. Please enjoy it.
