We are starting a children’s restaurant “Shinmeta Club”!
*-100th anniversary project-*
Yamatane Co., Ltd. (Head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Kawarada) Iwao (hereinafter referred to as “Yamatane Group”) celebrated its 100th anniversary on July 3, 2024. To commemorate this, and to express our gratitude and contribute to the local community even in the slightest, we opened an information center for the Yamatane Group in Fukagawa on June 3rd.
The children’s cafeteria “Shinmeta Club” will begin activities at the rice ball shop “Shinme no News” on August 28th.

A children’s cafeteria is a cafeteria that can be used by local children by themselves, and is an initiative that regularly provides free or low-cost meals to local children, and is also a place to deepen solidarity within the local community. Through our activities, we support families in difficult situations and children living alone. In recent years, children are eating alone more and more due to changes in lifestyles, so the children’s cafeteria “Shinmeta Club” provides a place where children can experience the joy of eating together, and also provides a credit card service. It can be used as a place for interaction with the local community, such as playing games and helping with homework.
By exchanging cheerful greetings such as “Itadakimasu” and
“Gochisousama” while eating meals, we provide children with a fun time while developing the habit of naturally developing a sense of gratitude.

Name: Children’s dining room “Shinmeta Gakubu”
Contents: Providing meals, playing cards, helping with homework, etc. *Free style where you can eat when you want and play when you want without fixing meal times.
Event date and time: 4th Wednesday of every month 17:00-19:00 *The first event will be held on August 28th (Wednesday)
Venue: “New Meadow” 2F (1-3-5 Monzennakacho, Koto-ku, Tokyo) Menu provided: One soup, three side dishes, fruits, and drinks. Number of people wanted: 10-15 people *Adults will be charged 500 yen if accompanied by a guardian.
