About Taiwan Mazesoba “Forbidden Door”
“Forbidden Door” is an up-and-coming new brand born in March 2021. Taiwanese mazesoba is so addictive that you’ll be hooked once you try it, like a forbidden door that you can’t return to once you enter. This is the origin of the store’s name.
The general manager trained at Menya Kokoro, a famous Taiwanese mazesoba restaurant, and became independent.
A cup that will captivate Taiwanese Mazesoba fans with its original hybrid of the taste of a famous restaurant. We are creating a truly forbidden drink.
With a catchy store name, original lettering that looks great on social media, and collaborations with art, we aim to be a unique ramen shop that has never existed before, and spread the forbidden door not only in Japan but all over the world.

Japan Taiwan Mazesoba Association ~JTMA~
The following three brands were launched to launch the association. Hanavi is the “original” noodle shop that brought Taiwanese mazesoba to the world in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, and Kokoro is the “honke” noodle shop that currently has the largest number of stores in Japan and continues to open stores overseas. And Forbidden Tobira, an “up-and-coming” brand that aims to operate stores that are not bound by conventional wisdom as part of a new culture, is an organization that was set up to update Taiwanese Mazesoba to Japanese food culture.
