This time, we will be opening our first store for a limited time at Isetan Tachikawa store because we want everyone in western Tokyo to enjoy the Japanese tea experience of 88 Asakusa.

“Yajuhachi Asakusa” is a Japanese tea stand whose representative, Junhiro Maruyama, pursued authentic matcha after training at a tea shop, and offers lattes and sweets made with Japanese tea from Kyoto. Each product uses our store’s original blend of matcha. Matcha blended from the Okumidori variety is characterized by a well-balanced taste of pleasant bitterness and umami.
“Matcha Latte Float” is our signature product, “Matcha Latte,” which is whipped with a tea whisk for each order, and topped with homemade matcha ice cream.* “Matcha Latte Float”*

About Yasuhachi Rabasha
Junhiro Maruyama, a former barista, opened Yasohachi Ryosha in Kyoto after encountering a cup of Gyokuro.
We carry high-quality tea from Kyoto that has been carefully selected by the owner, and we offer seven types of delicious matcha from Kyoto that match the season. Every year during harvest time, we work with the producers to harvest the tea. By visiting each producer and the creator of each tool and interacting with them, we are able to convey their first-hand opinions to our customers.

In 2019, we started the Japanese tea stand “Yasohachi Rabasha” next to Kurumaori Shrine in Arashiyama, Kyoto, and we hope to convince more people that not only tea but also various wonderful Japanese ingredients are delicious. We established room Co., Ltd. in 2022 to provide our customers with the best possible service. By delving into each raw material, we work on product development and store management every day to convey the characteristics of each raw material to customers in an easy-to-understand manner. In January 2023, we will open our second store, Yasohachi Asakusa, and in March, we will open another brand specialty store.
We have opened sugar shop “Totaro”.
